Prof. Ouri Wolfson is the Richard and Loan Hill Professor of Computer Science at the University of Illinois at Chicago and an Affiliate Professor at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. His research focuses on big data, distributed systems, mobile/pervasive computing, smart cities, and connectomics. Wolfson has authored over 230 publications, holds seven patents, and has over 16,000 citations. He is a Fellow of ACM, IEEE, AAAS, and AAIA. He is the founder of two startups, Mobitrac and Pirouette Software, and has served as a consultant for organizations like DARPA, NASA, and the US Army.
